WELLBEING ACTIVITIES

Whitleigh Wellbeing Art Café

Wednesdays, 12-3pm – Salvation Army Hall, Lancaster Gardens, Whitleigh

Cost £2 per session

Whitleigh wellbeing Art Café is a weekly peer-to-peer creative support group that uses art and crafts as tools to bring people together and form supportive friendships and networks.

Everyone is welcome, and no expertise is needed. Activities are decided by the group each term, and we also fundraise to bring in artists and makers so we can learn new skills and techniques.

As well as meeting up each week, we also help out with some of the bigger community events each year, such as the Lantern Parade, and help to brighten up the Whitleigh community with mosaics and murals. We also go out on a few trips each year.

The project is more than just arts and crafts. It’s about supporting the well-being and confidence of everyone who comes through the door.
